Port Douglas and Trinity Beach

We packed a big salad lunch and went up to Port Douglas for a day trip. We drove up along the Great Barrier Reef Drive and took a short break at Rex Lookout for a great Photo of my mum and dad.

When we arrived in Port Douglas we went strait down to the beach for a dip in the ocean, the water was warm.

After the dip we went back trough the center of town and down to the Marina where we ate our packed lunch in the shade under a big tree.

Stuffed and satisfied we strolled down the Marina where we sat down in a brewery bar and tasted the locally brewed beer.

On our way back down to Cairns we made a quick stop at Trinity Beach were we swam for the second time today. We also had some dolphins jumping in the sea some hundred meters just of the beach.
