Kuranda and Millaa Millaa Falls

Once again we took the car for a day trip. This time we set our goal to visit the market in Kuranda with lots of local creations and art and also to manage to visit a waterfall which we could swim in.

We arrived quite early around 10am just when the market opened. We strolled around the stalls for a bit and Sofie bought a pair of cute earrings.

After a little while we tock a scenic walk along Barron River. It was a warm day and after arriving back in Kuranda we ate some lunch.

Stuffed and warm we made our way back to the car for a quite beautiful drive over the Tablelands down to Millaa Millaa Falls where we swam in the 20 meter high waterfall. it was super refreshing. On our way down to Cairns again we went on a very steep and winding road, we could almost see our on tail end in the turns.
